A note on Complex-PTSD (C-PTSD)
We are often asked about assessments for Complex PTSD (C-PTSD). While C-PTSD is recognized by the ICD-11 in Europe, it is not currently listed as a formal diagnosis in the DSM-5-TR used in North America. This does not invalidate your experience or prevent you from receiving an accurate and supportive diagnosis. The DSM-5 offers a medical framework for describing symptoms, but no manual can fully capture the complexity of the human experience. If you would like to explore your symptoms and options, please book a consultation to discuss the best path forward for you.
